Frequently Asked Questions

How much are your classes?
All classes are 20.00 or 1 deduction from your package. Our packages are:
20.00 - single class (drop-in)
75.00 - 4 classes (18.75 each)
90.00 - 5 classes (18.00 each)
150.00 - 10 classes (15.00 each) - best value!

Why do I have to take Pole Orientation?
Technique, safety, and basic pole moves are taught in Pole Orientation to provide a
safe foundation for novice students. Also, Pole Orientation is usually the first pole
experience for all of the students in the class – everyone is a rookie! Students will not
feel anxious or rushed as they would in a class with more experienced peers. Once
your Pole Orientation is complete, you can choose to continue with our
workout
or
dance  classes.

My schedule does not allow me to take the required Pole Orientation. What
should I do?
You have two options if you cannot take the Pole Orientation at its regularly
scheduled times:
  • Schedule private lessons. This option usually requires 2-3 lessons to complete
at a cost of 75.00 per session.
  • Invite four friends, co-workers, and/or family members who want to start
taking pole fitness classes with you. Contact the studio and we can set up a
time that fits your schedule. Please note, there is a 5 person minimum for
    this option.

I’ve taken the Pole Orientation, and now I'm not sure which class is best
for me. How will I know?
Before you decide which class you're going to take, consider your personal goals.
What do you want to achieve at Pole Kittens?
  • If you want to break up the monotony of your workout routine or need
motivation to get off the couch, Pole Kittens workout classes are for you.
  • If you want to learn to dance for an audience or feel incredibly sexy, Pole
Kittens dance classes will be the perfect fit.

All of our classes are great – it just depends on your mood and/or what you want to
achieve. Read each class description to see which one is right for you!

What’s the difference between a Four-Week Series and other classes?
A Four-Week Series will meet at the same day/time for four weeks and the dance
routine is continued throughout the series. Other dance classes must be taken after
your Pole Orientation and the routines will not flow from week to week.

How long will it take me to advance?
There is no set time period for level progression. Students develop the strength at
different paces according to their individual body types and fitness levels. Generally
speaking, once a student demonstrates that she can capably pick up and support
her own body weight without straining, she is ready for the next level of training. A
student's graduation to aerial level classes is at the discretion of the instructors.

How many students are in each Pole Kittens class?
It depends on the class. Some classes are limited to 4 students, and others 8
students. When you schedule a class, you’ll see how many students can attend
each class and how many slots are still available.

How long are classes?
PoleKittens classes are typically an hour, except for Cardio classes (45 minutes) and
Pole Orientation, which runs about 90 minutes.

Will I actually get a workout from Pole Kittens classes?
Definitely. Pole dancing and pole fitness aren’t as easy as they look. Our workout
classes were created with fitness as the focal point. The AlphaKitten Method®
ensures toned physiques and upper-body strength. Although classes are fun and
conducted in a relaxed setting, emphasis is put on attaining personal fitness goals
and promoting individual improvement.

What should I wear to my class?
Each class has it's own clothing and footwear requirements. This information will be
listed in your confirmation email. But generally...
  • Students should wear a short-sleeved shirt or tank top, and the proper
bottoms and footwear according to the class description.
  • Do not wear rings, bracelets, and watches – this ensures student safety and
prevents damage to our poles and your jewelry.
  • No lotion or moisturisers. Lotion makes proper execution difficult and makes
the poles slippery and unsafe for use.

How do the punch cards work?
Students can schedule classes [here] in single sessions or in discounted packages of

How long do your parties last?
The length of a party depends on the number of participants. A party of 10 will
usually last  1-1/2 to 2 hours,  while a party of 20 may last up to 3 hours.

How many people can I invite to my party?
Our lap dance parties have a maximum of 12 participants. The pole parties work
best with a maximum of 15 ladies. However, we do offer a different format for large
groups. Please contact us for details.

How do I book a studio party?
We schedule parties around our regular classes. Although our parties can be any
